the kitchen, in numbers.

NomNom pulls supermarket shelf prices every day. We do the arithmetic, then write down what we find. No invented averages: behind every figure there is a named product and the day it was priced.

what does a week of dinners cost for three?

We priced five dinners across five shops, same recipes, same day. The cheapest and the priciest basket are €17.02 apart. The surprise is where they are not: a carrot costs exactly the same at all four chains.

We post rarely, and only when there is something to say. New pieces also go out over RSS.
